How We Raise and Deploy Resources

MACONA's strategy relies on both Cash and In-Kind donations, organized around seasonal campaigns and semester-based fundraising cycles.

Seasonal Drives

We run four seasonal campaigns each year — Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter — to collect clothing, food, educational supplies, and medicine for communities in need.

Cash Fundraising

Cash drives are organized into two semesters: H1 (January-June) and H2 (July-December). Funds are raised through our website, Givebutter for direct cash donations, and Benevity for corporate matching programs.

In-Kind Donations

We collect clothing, food, educational supplies, and medicine through drives at local high schools, tech events, and the Microsoft campus, as well as local food and clothing drives.

International Shipments

Collected goods are tracked and shipped internationally, with shipments to Dakar, Senegal among our established routes for reaching communities in Africa.
