MACONA is dedicated to providing relief and support for children and women in Africa and the Greater Baltimore Area. Our mission is to empower communities by providing access to basic needs such as healthcare, education, and nutrition. We strive to create sustainable solutions that will improve the lives of those in need, and to work towards a future where poverty and inequality are no longer barriers to a fulfilling life. Our efforts will be focused on Africa and the greater Baltimore area, and we will work in partnership with local communities to achieve our goals.

Cash drives are organized into two semesters: H1 (January-June) and H2 (July-December). Funds are raised through our website, Givebutter for direct cash donations, and Benevity for corporate matching programs.
We collect clothing, food, educational supplies, and medicine through drives at local high schools, tech events, and the Microsoft campus, as well as local food and clothing drives.
Collected goods are tracked and shipped internationally, with shipments to Dakar, Senegal among our established routes for reaching communities in Africa.
Clothing drives organized at high schools in the Greater Baltimore Area, engaging students and families in direct community action.
Clothing and supply drives hosted at technology conferences, connecting the tech community with hands-on philanthropy.
